MAI HOA was established in accordance on july 03.2001.
The Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul wish to provide needed care to terminally-ill patients so that they achieve a dignified way of life, peace and serenity within themselves and with others.
MAI HOA is managed by the Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul,in cooperation with other voluntary organizations, benefactors, doctors and specialists in various fields

which covers an area of 10.000m². is the first NGO of its kind
in Vietnam.

I. CENTRE'S AIMS:

  1. To take care of the neglected terminally-ill HIV/AIDS patients
  2. To help patients to be reconcifed with themselves, with theirs families and with society, to be at peace during theirs last days.
  3. To create a favourable environment for the patients to become helpful, to participate and
    to contribute according to their condition, in the campaign against HIV/AIDS spreading.

II. POPULATION TARGET

1. Individuals:
  1. - Those infected by HIV /AIDS, terminally-ill:

  3. - must pledge not to indulge in heroin trading or addiction:
2. Admission:

Admission to the centre only patients introdeced by:
  1. - The Infection Departement E. Tropical Deseases Hospital
  2. - Pham Ngoc Thach Tubeculosis Centre
  3. - An Binh free of Charge Hospital.
3. Before Admittance:

A preliminary medical and social inquiry will be produced by the Centre's social worker.

   who come directly to the centre
